HOW MUCH ARE THEY?

 "How much are they?" is a common question used when asking for the price of multiple items. This question is useful when shopping and talking about money.

For example:

  • "How much are these shoes?" → Asking about the price of shoes.
  • "How much are those apples?" → Asking for the price of apples.
  • "How much are the tickets for the movie?" → Asking about ticket prices.

GRAMMAR: QUESTION WITH "HOW MUCH"

Structure

How much + are + plural noun?

If asking about a single item, we use "is":
